Deer Season

Zone A rifle season opens August 9. Our PLM ranch will open rifle hunting on July 12. We still have tags available for this year, and the deer herd looks exceptional. We are seeing good antler growth already, and there are a couple of "dandies" out there this year!

If you would like to book a hunt for 2008, call now to reserve your dates and tags.

Duck & Goose Season

After a year of discovery at the new blind last year, we are staying where we are. If we get good (bad) weather this year, we ought to have some tremendous hunting. After getting the new area and bird patterns down, we had some awesome shoots! Again, weather is the key ingredient.

Pig Season

We have  relocated ranches for our wild pigs.  However, due to our commitment to managing our herd for the sake of our clients, we now offer only a limited amount of pig hunts every year.

Once our management practices have positively influenced our pig herd, we will continue to increase the number of hunts for wild pigs year by year.

Our main goal is to assure our clients that they will see a large number of pigs and get great opportunities at harvesting a good hog.

Turkey Season

Turkey season was another fantastic one this year. Our clients had a success rate of 88%. We shot a lot of two and three year old birds this year, with only one jake being taken. The jake was shot by a hunter who had to leave in the morning due to time constrictions.

Due to an exceptionally large amount of toms this year, both young and old, we have a lot of holdover birds for next year. The hatches of poults also look excellent, and if survival through the year holds like we think it should, the next couple of years are going to be very productive.
